    Pakistan Replace Haris Rauf With Hasan Ali

    Pakistan has called fast bowler Hasan Ali in the Test squad to replace Haris Rauf.

    What Happened?

    Haris Rauf has been ruled out of Pakistan’s upcoming test series against England due to injury and he replace Hassan ali taking his place in the squad.

    This is a big blow for Pakistan, as Haris was in superb form during the recent Pakistan Super League (PSL), taking 18 wickets in just nine games.

    Hassan ali is a talented young pacer who impressed everyone. Hassan ali has raw pace and ability to swing the ball both ways. He will be a useful addition to the squad. It remains to be seen if he can fill the void left by Haris Rauf.

    Who is Hasan Ali?

    Hasan Ali is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the Pakistan national cricket team. He made his debut for Pakistan in August 2016 and played his first Test match in January 2017.

    Born in Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Hasan is a right-arm fast bowler who bats right-handed. He first played cricket at the age of 13 and later represented his district cricket team and regional teams.

    Hasan made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Ireland in August 2016. He took his first five-wicket haul in ODIs against Sri Lanka in October 2017. In January 2018, he made his Test debut against New Zealand and took his first five-wicket haul in Tests against England in May 2018.

    In April 2019, Hasan was banned from bowling in international cricket for 12 months after being found guilty of breaching the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) code of conduct multiple times. The ban was later reduced to six months on appeal.

    Why Rauf Has Been Replaced

    Hasan Ali has been drafted into Pakistan’s squad for the remainder of the Bangladesh T20I series as a replacement for Haris Rauf. So, who has been ruled out with a stress injury in his right leg.

    This is a big blow for Pakistan, who had high hopes for Rauf after his breakout performance in the Big Bash League. However, injuries have plagued Rauf throughout his career and it seems that he has once again been struck down by one.

    Hasan Ali will now have an opportunity to cement his place in the side. He prove that he is the better option than Rauf. Rauf will also be looking to take advantage of this opportunity. He put pressure on the other members of the squad.

    Conclusion

    It is always disappointing when a player gets injured and has to be replaced. Pakistan’s decision to replace Haris Rauf with Hasan Ali is a wise one. Hasan Ali is a more experienced bowler and will provide some much-needed stability in the bowling line-up. We wish Haris Rauf a speedy recovery and we hope to see him back on the field soon.
